Ossola Climbing - Esigo
Esigo is the perfect crag for the climber who want escape from the summer heat. Bolted by local climbers Maurizio Pellizzon and Luigi Turchetto, the crag is bolted perfectly with fix inox. Rock quality is excellent,and the granite wall is immersed in a magical fir forest. Doesn't matter how warm is the weather, you'll find always cold and good conditions here from advanced spring to early fall.
Climbing style is various and you'll find routes of difficulty from 5c to 8a. Here some good routes to try:

HOW TO GET THERE: from Baceno follow the road for Alpe Devero for about 5 Km. After the village of Croveo you'll find 3 bridges. After crossing the 3rd bridge, leave the car in the park on the left, than walk following the road for Alpe Esigo for about 500mt. Than you'll see a trail starting on the right with indication for Goglio. Follow the trail and you'll see the crag after a minute.
SEASON: from May to September. Avoid rainy and cold days.
